Cooler weather, and soon cold weather, is upon us here in the panhandle. You probably have many items in your home and garage that you won’t use again until we see warmer temperatures.
A storage unit is a great way to clear out the clutter and free up some space until the weather returns to the warm, sunny Florida we know and love.
If you have kayaks, golf clubs, or other outdoor equipment you won’t use much, if at all, keep it in a storage unit until needed again. Perhaps your children have toys for outdoors such as small, motorized cars that they won’t be able to use for a few months. Roller skates and skateboards may not be used much during winter and could be stored until spring.
You may also want to pack up summer clothes and store them. When storing clothes and shoes, put everything in large plastic zipper bags to keep moisture and bugs out.
The holidays are coming and bringing cooler weather. You’ll need extra space for holiday decorations, so store summer items you don’t need right now in a storage unit. When warm weather arrives, switch out summer stored items for winter and keep your home uncluttered.
